Research grounded through landscape

“My research is grounded through landscape. Through walking, drawing, film and photography, I explore how building a psychodynamic relationship with one’s surroundings can transform our experience of being in a place. As we try to respond to and heal the natural world and our perspective of it, my practice seeks to investigate ways of guiding people towards this intrinsic connection with our environment, that influences both our external, and internal lives. “

“Through the methods of observation and abstraction, my work acts as a meeting place between myself and my surroundings. I see visual practice as an integral part of expanding our outlook, and as an active part of the movement towards positive change.”

Collaboration integral to personal practice

“……Collaboration is integral to the progression of personal practice, but I also see the network enabling us to take ideas with longer force momentum and, through collective agency, to bring them into the real world.”
